By the still Mirror Lake in a chilly night, how solitary ! ,
I stroll all alone, counting every pace of cares and anxiety.
The yellow moon begins to dim, grayish clouds to thicken
Frail dews sprinkle all over rustling trees, night is forsaken !
At tripping over unseen barriers on the life journey daily,
I 'm aware of no escape from the boundless jail for me.
I face the Mirror Lake , my shadow looks at me :
- Deep in the gloomy night, why are you here so lonely ?
Life of hard struggles has not yet ended , my dear
Your moaning sighs by the lake , who can ever hear ?
- Oh ! shadow , only you could understand thoroughly
Can arduous efforts ever move the indifferent Almighty ?
Carrying at start good will of helping , striving for justice
Yet midway one 's tasted disappointments, bitter prejudice ..
Shadow says:
- Patiently sham ignorance,
Keep being good at endurance.
The declining sun naturally sets in the west
Toil of changing that is indeed useless, not best .
It' s wiser to lie in the dark, watching fluctuations
Keep eyes keen, ears sharp to comprehend all situations .
The more discouragement, the harder your iron will should be
The longer it takes , the more modest soul it will guarantee .
Golden dragons are still hiding in stagnant waters , self training
Phoenixes are taking shelter in deep jungles, waiting for spring .
" Have no spite against the Heaven upper ,
Bare no hatred for the earthly world or whoever "
Keep noble spirits as high mountains , so topless.
Human life simply lasts one hundred years more or less
Till the last breath, keep mind peaceful and stainless .
Let 's smile at life that 's turned upside down
Break grief into pieces by laughing away all sorrows and frowns ...
